The Life Of A Wanderer

Today I decided to start a blog. 

So here’s a little insight on why I chose the name ‘the lustful wanderer’ for my blog..
First of all, I am travel obsessed. Since going on my first big overseas holiday in 2010 to Europe I have been bitten by the travel bug. Hard. I absolutely fell in love with the idea of travelling. Getting lost in cities and places that dreams are made of, meeting new people, hearing amazing stories from other travellers, not knowing what is going to happen next, being completely and utterly carefree, sharing different cultures, accents, smells and cuisines, seeing such breath taking, heart stopping scenery that you have to pinch yourself to make sure you really are seeing it through your own eyes…I mean really, what’s not to love about travel?

Lust
meaning: an overwhelming desire or craving, to have an intense or obsessive desire.

Lustful
meaning: excited or driven by lust.

Wanderer
meaning: to move around without a definite destination or purpose, to go by an indirect route.

I am soon to embark on an amazing trip overseas to South America. I figured a blog would be a great way to keep in touch with my family and friends while I’m away to keep them up to date with stories and photos. Hopefully I will also be able to help out fellow travellers or just give some people a bit of travel inspiration.
